This past year was my first year playing tennis at a competitive level. Once I picked up a racquet I fell in love with the game and I knew this was the sport I wanted to continue playing at the collegiate level. I know that playing Tennis in college would be life changing.
My athletic ability helps me with Tennis greatly. Since I'm athletic I know I can keep working hard and there is no limit to how good I can be on the tennis court. I try to be the hardest working player on my team because if my teammates see me working hard they will follow and that just doesn't make me better but it makes the whole team better. With any sport I play I work harder than anybody else because there's nothing I hate more than losing.
In the classroom I maintain a good GPA and I try to build strong relationships with my teachers so they can help me with my studies.
I would like to attend a college that will help me with tennis and help me pursue my career in the classroom because both are equally as important. I want to select a college that fits my needs academically and athletically. My goal is to make my parents proud playing Tennis at the next level because no one in my family has ever played a college sport which is what drives me to be the best I can be.
