Being a student-athlete in college is something I have dreamed of since the first time I picked up a racquet. I loved playing tennis and knew that I would keep playing through all of my years of education to high school and through college. I make a good candidate for any college team because I am a hard-worker on and off the court. I maintain a strong focus on academics while still making time to get on the court every day and improve my game. I grew up playing baseball as well and always loved the team experience of playing baseball. While tennis is an individual sport, in high school and college, you play as a team. My experience playing a team sport in addition to playing on my high school team allows me to fully understand how to be a good teammate and team leader.
