Hi, I’m Isabella, but my team calls me Isa. I am super excited to play soccer at the collegiate level, so I can keep playing every day, grow my skill and have a lot of fun. I have a lot of passion and am extremely competitive - winning is important to me.
What makes me a good candidate for your team is that I am fearless, positive and coachable. When I played for AYSO as a young child, I was called the juggernaut. When I am in my zone, I am determined to do what it takes to keep that ball out of my goal. I have two brothers who have done an awesome job at roughing me up so... I’m pretty tough.
I'm also fun and a super happy person with a positive outlook on everything. I’ve been told that my teachers and friends have a lot of respect for me because they've never heard me say anything negative -it’s just not in me. I love my team and the game. I know when it's time to be serious and when it's time for fun. I would rather be at practice at 5am than sleeping on a Saturday morning.
What makes me coachable is that I take the advice from my coaches and use it to improve my skills. I look forward to it and use it right away because I trust them and know it will make me better. I am determined to succeed and willing to do what it takes in order to make that happen. I don't settle and am focused on improving.
Soccer is what I think about all day - it's what I love to do. I can’t wait to play for college and looking forward to meeting my new team - my family away from home. Thank you for considering me. Isabella
