I am a student at Roxana High School in Illinois and I have been playing Tennis since the summer after my 8th grade year. I played between 1,2, and 3 varsity my freshman year. Roxana doesn't have the largest team so I played singles and doubles. My sophomore year, we had a week of practice then it was cancelled but since I couldn't play with my time I practiced with my dad and started taking one on one lessons which has greatly improved my game. I want to go to college and become a mechanical engineer. I would love to play tennis while I am doing that and I am always willing to put in extra time as I do now with many school activities. I have learned valuable leadership skills and determination through becoming an eagle scout. I always give my all and it shows such as my grades and playing varsity tennis.
