Hi my name is Ethan Koeneman. I attend one of the bigger public schools in Indiana and one of the biggest in Fort Wayne Indiana. I have played varsity tennis at Carroll High School since freshman year. I played one and two doubles as a freshman, one doubles as a sophomore, one doubles as a junior, and next year I will be one or two singles. I've went to summer camps every year to further my game, and take regular privates as well as being in the high performance group in the club. I love and understand the game of tennis, and the reason I've played so much doubles is because I've got very good hands at the net, and my strategy for doubles is what really sets me away from the rest. I always play in singles tournaments and love competing in singles as well. I have all the skills to be a great singles player, plus my net game and strong serves help finish points faster in those singles matches. I grew up always loving tennis, and really have a passion for the game. I don't let bad points get to me, I have a great mindset ready to move on the next point no matter what. I love to win, it's one of the best feelings ever, but what also feels great to me is knowing I went out and played my best and had fun. I believe in myself and what skills I have as a tennis player and student to know I'm ready for the college level in both aspects.
