My collegiate goals are to eventually work towards a possible doctorate in Psychology. Specifically a PsyD after undergrad. I want to go into clinical psychology in the future, so a PsyD is the best avenue for that
My friends would describe me as slightly reserved yet fiercely loyal. I am not a natural-born leader, but I've grown to take a leadership role more often. I believe that whatever team will have me, I will be committed to and put my all towards. I will make an effort to improve every year and give my all day-in day-out.
I would like to believe that I would bring a good work ethic and attitude to what team I have the opportunity to join. I believe that I've gotten to where I am due to my work ethic and determination. Ever since I was able to join the Red Devils tennis team, I have been committed to being whatever the team needs. My first two years, I was a singles player, but my Junior year, I was told to train as a doubles player. I worked to improve my serve-volley combo, which was hilariously weak at the time. By the time of challenge matches, I won 80% of my singles challenge matches, losing only to our 1 singles and my eventual doubles partner. I then won all three doubles matches, all three against at least one person that was supposed to play over me. Next year, I know I have to be prepared to play either doubles or singles, so I will work on both singles and doubles. That is the type of work ethic I'll bring to your team
As for academics, I bring the same work ethic, if not even more determination. I am involved in the honors track in a few subjects in a school that is the highest ranking STEM-based school in Indiana.
