Personal Statement
Hi coaches,
My name is Ritvik Gonugunta, and ever since I was a kid, I have been around or been playing tennis, from watching my dad play with his friends, to learning how to hit a tennis ball for the first time, to making the varsity tennis team as a freshman. Some of my goals for college is getting a degree in Aerospace Engineering, as the aerospace industry has always captivated me, and also playing competitive tennis in college to further my skills. I am also a great team member as I have also participated in other team sports such as basketball and cricket competitively throughout my life, and have learned the importance of not only individual skill but also the importance of being a good team mate and leader.
