Welcome to my profile! I'm Anson Gentry, a 10th grade student at Urbana High School in Ijamsville, Maryland. I'm dedicated, hardworking, and ready to embrace life's challenges. Although I'm new to both wrestling and football (only my second season), I'm a quick study and extremely coachable.

• NCAA: 2002795143
• Wrestling: Currently wrestling at 170 lb on the Urbana Varsity team. Ranked #2 among Frederick County Maryland high school wrestlers.
• Football: My primary position is outside linebacker (http://www.hudl.com/profile/11620274).
• Other Athletics: I have extensive experience training and competing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Professor Pedro Sauer, Kristen DeBruycker, and Cesar Paredes. I enjoy weight training, power lifting, running, and mountain biking.

Professional Goals. Pursuing a B.S. in Life Science (Biology/Zoology) will prepare me for medical school and a career as a plastic surgeon. I will continue my passion for athletics during my U.S. university studies and play at the next level in wrestling and/or football. My long term plan includes serving my country as a military officer and improving the lives o others with my medical expertise. As soon as I earn my driver's license, I will be serving my community learning EMT skills and volunteering at my local fire department. I play the cello and bass guitar and enjoy skateboarding for fun.
