Coming straight out of High School and Bollitieri Tennis Academy, I had been completely burnt out on tennis but still loved to play the game. I thought winning the state champinship would be enough. I've never changed my workout ethics and still play competitively in men's 5.0 leagues just for this reason; to perhaps play in grad school.
I've always thought it was very impressive and cool how my dad can talk to us about his days as a star collegiate golfer. I want to be able to tell my kids and my grandkids the same. Now the passion is back, I am more talented than any of the club players I have been playing and feel I need more out of the sport.
Realistically, I hope to play at either a high-end D2 school or a D1 school while earning either my MBA or law degree. I am capable of competiting and defeating NCAA collegiate level players for I already have had several coaches of schools we've visited for tournaments contact me and inquire as to why I am not playing at the varsity level. I told them to wait until I earned my management degree and then we'd talk, well now that time has come. I feel more ready than ever, serving harder than I've ever served(in the 130's and average 125) moving better than ever, feeling stronger than ever and more mentally capable than ever.
