I am a 12th grader at Kearsarge Regional High School (NH) where I play varsity basketball and tennis. Due to low numbers in the program, I was fortunate to begin my varsity tennis career as an 8th grader during the 2021 season. Over the last 3 years, I have worked hard on the court and in the classroom, in the hope of gaining admission to a post-secondary school where I can pursue an education in athletic training, physical therapy, and/or exercise science. A longterm goal is to complete a graduate physician's assistant program.
I believe that I am a great teammate because I always place team goals and needs over individual goals and needs; a mindset that I embrace in both basketball and tennis. As part of this effort I have spent considerable time mentoring teammates in both sports. Additionally, my parents have instilled in me the importance of giving 100% effort 100% of the time, both in the classroom and on the court, whether at practice or competing in a match. My parents are educators, so I have also learned from them the importance of supporting others and serving my community.
