I was 8 years old when I picked up my first tennis racket and began playing tennis. At the end of my first day, I remember feeling a sense of passion and enthusiasm, both of which have stayed with me as I enter my high school career.
In 8th grade, I was introduced to Cybersecurity and knew that this would be the academic path for me. I had finally discovered a career that would fill me with the same energy and emotion that tennis has. I applied to Newburgh Free Academy's P-TECH program and was later selected to join this very selective program in 9th grade. With this program, I am on track to graduate with both a high school diploma and an Associate Degree in Cybersecurity in 2027.
I currently play tennis on my High School's Varsity and Junior Varsity teams with 1st Singles as my position. I am coachable and love learning of new ways to improve my tennis skills. My immediate tennis goal is to increase my UTR to 10 or above by the start of next Varsity season by competing in a few high level tournaments. My dream would be to play collegiate tennis while completing my undergraduate degree in Cybersecurity. I also plan on pursuing my graduate degree along with several Computer Science and Cybersecurity certifications.
I strongly believe that my background, drive, enthusiasm, and intellect will allow me to make a significant difference in both tennis and Cybersecurity. I know that tennis will be a life-long passion of mine that will both inspire and challenge me everyday.
