Dermott Duggan '21 Recruiting Profile

Career Best UTR: 10.21 (S) and 10.42 (D). I have struggled with some injuries in the past, and COVID has severely limited my opportunities to play against higher-rated competition to boost my ratings now that I am fully healthy, so I feel like my potential on the court is higher than my ratings indicate. I also feel like playing around other top players can really help me accelerate my growth as a player. 

I would describe my game as aggressive, with a good serve and attacking groundstrokes. I love to play doubles and have enjoyed some good success as a junior on the doubles court, with several good tournament finishes, including a finalist placement at one of the largest Canadian tennis events last year.

I'm looking for a very good academic school with a strong tennis team. I am very excited to be a part of a team atmosphere again after ending my baseball career, and I can't wait to get to work to help the team win.
