Blake Deering '21 Recruiting Profile

I am Blake Deering and will graduate in 2021 from Canyon High School in New Braunfels, Texas. I am an ambitious tennis player, devoted honor student, and on the A Honor Roll with a 3.88 GPA. My goal is to take tennis to the next level.

I became passionate about tennis in ninth grade. My ultimate goal in the summer of 2017 was to play in USTA tournaments and improve my game to be able to make Varsity as a freshman. While on Varsity I continued to challenge myself both on the court and in the classroom. I am one of the top 4 varsity boys for both the fall and spring season as a freshman  and was instrumental in the team qualifying for the bi-district tournament for  3 years in a row.  I continue to take honors classes and was Academic All -District for Tennis.

My goal is to attend a college or university with challenging academic standards and a strong tennis program. I have a strong desire to further my experience in a sport that I get so much enjoyment from.
