Hi my name is Jayden Hernandez and I run for Dana Hills High School based in Dana Point, California. I started running my Freshmen year, during the start of the pandemic for Godinez High school. Once I began to run I immediately fell in love with the sport. I soon became a dedicated athlete that loves to compete. I hope that one day I will be able to compete at the next level in this sport and set a collegiate record and even win some team titles. This is why I made the bold decision to move to Dana Hills HS my senior year. My parents travel 120 miles round trip every day. I love working as a team player. What makes me a good candidate for your team is that I love taking criticism as I believe it will help me become a better runner and person, I have an exceptional work ethic that is impressive, I love to work together because I find it very prideful to achieve greatness while everyone puts their part. Not only do I care for the sport but I care in my academics. Once my running career is nearing its end I'd wish to pursue a career outside running and also focus on my academics while my collegiate career is active. I will make sure you will not regret giving me a chance to be able to compete for you and the team.
