2019 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Track has opened myself up to many opportunities and experiences. Being the team captain has left me in charge of numerous responsibilities and has allowed me to build character and trust with coaches. I’ve learned that I’m very detail oriented and like to make things as perfect as I can. This has lead to me being very crucial and putting extra emphasis on my habits of eating and working out as well as my throwing technique. Many hardships faced in my junior year lead to me needing to step up and be a leader through the frustration has shown my qualities as a leader, a team captain, and my pursuit to improve myself.
