I am currently attending Palos Verdes Peninsula High School in California. I am 6’4” and started my track career as a freshman, with my high jump starting a little later into the season. I originally played ice hockey since I was 8 years old, but when one of my favorite teachers, who is also the head coach of T&F introduced me to track and jumping, I realized that was the sport that I wanted to put all my focus into.
My strength and favorite event is High Jump, hitting 6’6” this season, and have improved by at least 4 inches every year. I also run a 22.19 200m and I am also part of a relay team that runs the 800SMR achieving 1:32.55 being a top time in the nation this outdoor season. We run the 4x4 and the 4x1 as well, with times of 3:18.25 and 42.07 this year. I earned a spot on the varsity team my sophomore year and have been made Team Captain my junior year. Hopefully, given the chance I will be able to continue my track career all 4 years in college.
Academically, I have been taking difficult courses including 9 AP’s and Honors over the course of my high school career. As of right now my cumulative weighted GPA is 4.19.
