One of the things that I love about the game of lacrosse is that it draws in women from different aspects of the community. Every player is different and unique, whether they are a presidential scholar, a dancer, a musician, or an artist. But when these individuals are on the field, they play together as one. Lacrosse is where someone can have a competitive mindset but still love and enjoy the game with others.
Just as a team is made up of it’s individual uniqueness, I am made up of various aspects of my life that is shown on the field. Being apart of a large family brings to perspective the shows importance of family connections. Seeing my friends and family in the stands at my games increases my motivation and pushes me to perform even better. My affable personality has gotten me far in the lacrosse (next year Varsity captain, MVP, MOP). I love communicating with the girls on the teams I play on and finding ways to have successful and fun games with them.
