The goals I have for myself right now in terms of college are to find one that has a good undergraduate engineering department that also offers an MBA. I also prefer a college that offers Mandarin as I am interested in continuing my studies in this language, both for pleasure and because it will help me in the business world. I realize, however, that not that many colleges offer Mandarin, so I might have to continue with a private tutor.
My athletic dream is to run cross country for my college. I became interested in my sport during my freshman year of high school, and was surprised that I loved it. I am constantly training, both with my team and on my own at night. I was honored to receive the MVP award my sophomore year, and to be appointed to the Athletic Council this year. My current goal in cross country is to be the best in my league, to win a medal in a race along with my teammate Ben, and to get my pace down to a 5:20. Another big goal of mine is to help my teammates who are younger than me so that we can be the best team possible.
