Personal Statement

I have loved to run since I was a kid, running track in middle school and freshman year, before COVID cancelled the freshman and sophomore season.

Last year( my junior year) I decided to join the track team to see how well I would place in the 100m with no running training prior to the season. I started at 15.2 and managed to get my time down to 14.0 before getting sick for the last meet. I hate losing and performing badly when I know I can do so much better and since the season ended (June) I have been training for the next season determined to prove to myself that I can do a lot better. At the end of June I was running 13.34(June 27)  and on July 18 I clocked 12.48  and last Sunday August 21st I ran 11.68.

I am determined to push my body as far as it can go, and then go further. I like being around like minded people so we can help each other get better. I not only work hard but use my brain to learn where to apply the hard work for the best results. I believe that I am essentially a nerd who got into athletics.

Look out for me this coming track season because I will show myself and the world what I can do.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
