Ian Zahner '25 Recruiting Profile

My key aspiration for any collegiate team is to help be a difference-maker. No matter where I end up, I’m going to do all I can to make myself and my teammates better, both in and out of the ring. I’m known as a leader on my team as well as a hype-man, and I’ll always be there for my teammates to cheer for their successes and be there to support them through their shortcomings. Throwing especially has its ups and downs, and I know that I will be there for my team no matter what. I’m also incredibly coachable and know that anybody that offers advice is there to help me, not criticize or downplay my ability. I always do my utmost to take all advice that comes my way, and if it doesn’t work, it certainly isn’t from lack of effort.
