Aidan Hartman '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi,

My name is Aidan Hartman and I'm from Broomfield Colorado.  My goal is to be able to continue to play soccer in college and beyond.  I'm extremely dedicated to the sport and I know first hand the value of hard work.  Up to the 2018-19 season I was playing soccer on a recreational team so I could focus on competitive baseball.  Over the summer of 2018 I put in work and practiced using youtube videos and whatever I could find in my neighborhood.  When I tried out for my club in the fall I became the starting keeper on my clubs third team for the 04 age group.  I saw this as a huge step forward, during that year,  I played with my team, the second team for my age group, and the third team for the older 03 age group.  Then in 2019-20 I moved up to the second team in the 04 age group permanently, as well as playing with the 04 top team occasionally.  This past year 2020-21 I moved up again to the second team in the 02-03 age group.  I played with kids 2 years older than me and still had the best season of my career with a perfect record 3 shutouts in five games and only 2 goals scored on me all season as well as saving the only penalty I faced.  Despite my late start my dedication to soccer has led to nothing but improvement year after year  as I move up to a higher level team every year regardless of where was I before.  I believe this is my best attribute and shows that if given the opportunity in college I will excel and beat anyone in front of me to be the best player I can be, for both myself and the team I play for.
