I’ve always enjoyed running, however my freshman year was my first year participating in track and I found that I really enjoy the sport and would look forward to competing at the college level. I find that track allows me to better myself as an individual due to long hours of practice that have transformed me into the athlete that I am today. I also enjoy learning new things, which is why I try my best to pay attention in school to better my knowledge and maintain a good G.P.A. I am eager and hopeful to earn a scholarship, and if I am presented with the opportunity I would like to pursue mechanical engineering in college, as I am fascinated with the automotive industry.
