Micah Brighton '25 Recruiting Profile

Aloha, my name is Micah Brighton and I am enrolled at Seabury Hall in Maui, Hawaii. I have been running since 3rd grade and in 6th grade decided to join my school's cross-country team. I quickly became passionate about it and have always wanted to improve my times. I run both cross country and track. I run the 1500 and 3000 and my coach has me running the 800 and 400. My Freshmen year I was able to qualify for the Hawaii High School State Cross Country Championships and for track as well, I ran the 3000. My Sophmore year I placed 4th in the state for both cross country and the 3000 meters in track. I've also attended Team Prep USA - High Altitude running camp which has helped me to accomplish my goals of improving my times. In my sophomore year in cross country, I ran 16:42 for the 5k at states and 9:18 for the 3k in track. I hope to continue to improve my times and make it into a college that can help me advance so that I can best contribute to my team and school. Running is my passion.
