Angelo Lazaro '21 Recruiting Profile

I have learned a lot about myself over these past years, and I have Cross Country to thank for that. Coming from a smaller middle school I lacked leadership abilities, but doing Cross Country allowed me to take initiative of the team and ensure that each incoming athlete Is comfortable and well advised. This is detrimental to my mental growth no longer as an athlete but as a student. It forced me to become more hands on in the classroom and to speak out when I was confused, no longer did I sit their quietly. I am looking for a team that shares the same passion and determination that I do for the sport and still prioritizes their education before anything. I want a school that will ensure I receive the best educational experience possible and still allows me to have enough time to follow my passion in running.
