Personal Statement

“Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard” (Notke). Cliche as this quote maybe it serves as the basis to everything I do. Whether it is academics or athletics I always give a hundred percent, which can be seen with my 4.5 GPA and two all-state honors. In addition to my dedication to hard work, I am a great leader. Losing all upperclassmen my sophomore year was both poignant and exciting as it allowed me to step up and become a leader on the team. With this new role I helped lead our cross-country team to two conference wins and 2 state appearances, which ended in a 4th place finish in 2024. Furthermore, I have served in a multitude of leadership positions like President and Vice president in my extracurriculars like Key Club and 4-H. With this experience under my belt, I am looking forward to making a big impact as a dedicated leader at my college both in the classroom and on my team.

Thank you for considering me as a recruit for your team!

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
