I started off very young at the age of 7 running track. Mostly because I had a love for running even before my parents put me in a track club. I would always find myself running in the freestyle 100 meter dash race for toddlers, and I would win most of them. What I have learned from track and even academics is that if you don’t put in the full effort to complete your goal you will not achieve them. During my Freshman and Sophomore year I struggled with maintaining a 3.0 gpa. So my academic goal is to maintain 3.5 or higher from my Junior year to my Senior year. Also my goal for the ACT is to score a 26 or above. My athletic goal is to jump a 48 feet in triple jump and a 23 feet in long jump by the end of my senior year. The reason I want to go to college is so I can study something that can help in a career such as business or engineering. I will also like to participate in athletics in college because I really enjoy jumping and I would love to do track at the next level. By the end of my highschool experience I will be a well rounded individual in academics and athletics, and I believe by the time I reach college that I will achieve greater things.
