My favorite part of running track and cross country is probably the almost unbreakable bonds between you and your teammates. A good example of this is during hot long runs we always push each other to keep going and not stop so we can all get better as a team. During my time running I have learned a lot, I have learned leadership skills, how to be a good teammate, and how to be a better person in general. I first became interested in cross country when I joined it in 7th grade and found out I wasn’t bad at it like other sports, I kept doing cross country and track until now where I hope to continue into college.
I hope to graduate high school with at least a 3.4 GPA and find a college that will fit me in my pursuit of a degree in music production while also being a great fit for me athletically. I believe I would be good fit for a college cross country and track team and would help your athletes using the leadership skills and experience I have gained running during high school.
