My goals for college are to obtain a great education that prepares me for my future career and to run track and cross country at the highest level. I want to contribute to the success of the running program through my determination, leadership, and by being a supportive teammate. I ultimately want to play a key role on a team that competes heavily inside of it's conference and division, but also makes it to the NCAA Championships.
I am a competitor in everything I do, whether it's in the classroom or on the field. I work hard not only to make myself better, but to push those around me to be better, too. I have always seen my mother who had passed away when I was younger as a huge inspiration to me. She used to run every day and now I see her as my drive to compete to be the best that I can. She is why I train year-round to develop my skills, stay physically and mentally fit, and maintain healthy habits.
I am a big believer in giving back and being a positive contributor in my community. I am involved in boy scouts and some other clubs inside of my school that help contribute to my community. I've put in many hours of service inside of my community with especially boy scouts.
I am a strong student who knows how to balance school, clubs, a social life as well as track and cross country. I am taking all honors courses in addition to Gifted and Talented (GT) Chemistry and PLTW GT Engineering as a class.
