July 2021Personal Statement
I am a decathlete looking for a college where I can major in Engineering or Finance/Economics and continue at a competitive level for Track and Field. I competed in the 2021 Junior Olympics in the 17-18 year old men's decathlon, a dream I worked hard to achieve since I began competing in multiple events during my freshman year. Because my high school does not have a decathlon division, I have supplemented my high school training with a private team to ensure I am competitive at each of the decathlon components. Competing in multiple events is training me for the skills and stamina I will need as a college track athlete in general and a decathlete specifically.
