Ronald Etzler '24 Recruiting Profile

I am RJ Etzler and excited to introduce myself as a dedicated, passionate, and humble track athlete eager to contribute to your team's success. I have a genuine love for the sport and a commitment to hard work. Since I was six years old, I participated in youth sports (baseball, football, and wrestling). My first two years of high school, I was on the football and wrestling team. In the spring of my sophomore year, my biology teacher (who was also the track coach) approached me about joining outdoor track. I had no clue what I was getting myself into but took a chance. I now run every season: cross-country, indoor, and outdoor track! My favorite events are the 400m, 500m, and 4x400m relay; however, I also run the 4x200m relay, 800m, and 4x800m relay. I look forward to continually beating my personal record this year but also to life after high school. My goal is to keep running and chasing PRs on a university/college track team.
