I know I will never be an olympic runner, yet I keep running. I don't run for accolades or acknowledgement. I run for myself and the unique experience I get from being on a team. I love the challenge of the game and love getting an education at the same time. You meet friends you never would have met, and do things you never knew you could do. I play with confidence and always bring a positive attitude to the track. My work ethic surmounts all other qualities though. I work tirelessly to get where I want to be. Whether its meeting a specific time or getting that grade, my determination to achieve my goals makes me the athlete, student and person I am today, and will grow to be.
