Noah Gomes D’Sa '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Noah Gomes D'Sa and I am a Senior (class of 2024) at Bishop Feehan High School in Attleboro, MA.  In my freshman year, I earned a spot on the varsity cross-country and track teams and have been a varsity athlete since then. While we had very short athletic seasons due to COVID-19, I was determined to make the most of every opportunity and improve consistently on my time. In my freshman year, I ran a mile PR of 4:48.2 and a 2 mile PR of 10:07. I also qualified for a spot at the MIAA South Divisional meet where I was the fastest freshman in the mile and came third in my heat. Currently, I have a PR of 16:54 in the 5k, 4:31 in the 1 Mile, and 10:07 in the 2 mile.

Academically, I am an honor roll student at my school where I take Honors and Honors 1 classes. I also won a silver medal at the 2021 National Spanish Exam. In addition to running, I have a third degree black belt in karate. Being a martial artist has not only helped me get physically stronger through cross-training, it has also taught me discipline, focus and the value of team work. 

My goal is to continue working hard both on the track and in the classroom, setting ambitious goals and striving hard to achieve them. I am still in the process of exploring my academic interests and identifying a potential major. I do aspire to run track in college and am seeking a competitive environment that focuses on developing well-rounded student athletes and helping them to achieve their full potential.
