My name is Liam Feliz, I was born and raised in the city of Boston and run track at John D. O' Bryant School of Mathematics and Science. At first I never gave track the time of day as I was busy playing baseball, football, and squash, but after a unfortunate shoulder injury (which I recovered from) I wasn't able to play baseball anymore. Since I was always the fastest on any baseball team I played on, I thought why not give it a shot. It's been on of the best decisions of my life as I became obsessed with the sport and found myself in love with the work that came with it. Seeing how when I first began I was jumping 5'3 in the high jump to finishing my first season at 6'. The motivation became endless and I now wish to bring this same energy to the collegiate level.
Everyone says they work hard but I do, whether in the classroom, where I take 3 AP classes and maintain a 3.7 GPA with 2 dual enrollment courses, and on the track where I've already started working out for the winter indoor season. I can't except remaining or anything less than great, I hope the college I go to also does.
