My Name is Eric Moussignac from the Class of 2022. I started track during my freshman year, I was looking to try a new sport, I had never run previously to that. I started off running the 400m dash, and my first meet, I ran a 1:04, 3 meets later I PR to a 1:00 on a laser timer. Going into my sophomore year, I really considered taking track seriously, I had gained a love and passion for it. Unfortunately, Covid-19 had hit, and I missed that season. This year, we only had three meets. At my first meet, I ran a 58.2, without any previous training. I decided if I wanted to run at the collegiate level, it would make sense to run the 200 and 100. So during the middle of April, with two meets I decided to run those events. This summer, I really plan on taking this to the next level, by running at USATF events and consistently working out. By the end of the summer, with the work I am putting in, I am hoping to run a 10.5 for the 100m and a low 22 for my 200m.
