Personal Statement

Hi, my name is John Almeda and I’m extremely eager and prepared to further my goals as a student athlete. I’m in the class of 2024. I run track & field in the spring, summer and winter. I run the 100m, 200m, and their relays along with the 60m in the winter.  I attend Detroit Catholic Central High School and have a cumulative GPA of 3.9. I love to compete with my teammates and will work hard every day. I only give my best effort on the track and in the classroom. I’m very excited to continue my career and look forward to playing at the next level.
