Hello, my name is Jake Harrington. I would like for you to look at my accomplishments and see if you would want me to run at your college. I am currently a senior at Lamar Christian School and have been competing in cross country and track and field since freshman year. I recently won first in 4A MAIS 5K with a time of 18:34.88. Here is a link on milesplit ms. <https://ms.milesplit.com/meets/448645-mais-overall-xc-meet-2021/results/778314>. Why do I run? A simple answer is because I love my team. At first I joined cross country because I wanted to hang out with my friends. I quickly figured out that I had natural running ability and that I really enjoyed it. Not only did I enjoy running, I figured out that I needed it after a while. After a long day of school, running became an outlet for relieving stress. My coaches Jimmy Thompson and Coach Nevil Barr encourage me. I would be happy if you would like to text or call me if you are interested.
