I am a hardworking student-athlete who grew up playing many different sports. It wasn’t until my freshman year, when I ran cross country, that I discovered I had a real passion and talent for running. My first two years of running I focused on strengthening my work ethic and self-discipline in the sport. My last two years of high school, as a team captain, I want to help my teammates improve to find greater success as a team. I want to run in college because I love the team, competition, and community aspects of the sport. I want to run in college so I am able to compete at the highest level I can while also getting a great education. Education wise, I am interested in any type of engineering, but am particularly fascinated with aerospace engineering.
