I discovered running in the 8th grade; thanks to a very supportive coach I have been setting goals, and working hard to attain them ever since. I believe what makes me different than others is my grit, determination, and commitment. I am always wanting more, and I continue to push for my next PR. I push myself the same way in my academics. I feel that maintaining my 4.0 GPA, is just as important as lowering my mile, 2 mile, and 5k times. However, the thing most important to me is my faith, and belief that through Christ, all things are possible, even my dream of furthering my education while doing what I love; running. It has been my goal throughout my high school XC & Track career to utilize my God given talents to the fullest while displaying good sportsmanship, compassion, empathy, and kindness. I may not have the very best times in the state, but I will not stopping fighting to attain them. I know I have a lot of growth and potential left, and if chosen for your team I promise to worker harder than any other athlete you have ever coached to reach my full potential.
