My goal on the collegiate lever is to be able to do what I want to do in my future. Become the better me and be who I want me to be when I get older. What makes me a good candidate for all teams is, my work ethtic is very high, I want to become better everyday and show progress from day one. I proitize showing up for practice and meets and giving my very best. I want to be the best team supporter, but I want to learn from the better teammates on how to do things. I am very coachable I work well and look up to all my coaches. They have all had a very big impact on my life and track career teaching me things and opening me up to the track world and finding my happy place. But track isn't the only sport I love. I am very passionate about Basketball. I have shown lots of improvement in my time of being a basketball player. Even if I can't continue my basketball career I would still like to have a chance at collegiate level and be a team player. I believe that I raise the team mentality by supporting everyone and working on a strong relationship with all my teammates is very important to me as an athlete. What makes me better recruits? I grew up in a small town where people told me I couldn't do this and I couldn't do that. Hearing that made me sad and hurt my feelings. So what did I do? I changed who I was, I learned about sports, and I worked really hard at it. Now being a Senior in highschool, running a 10.99sec 100 meter dash, 21.9sec 200 meter dash and a 54.50sec 400 meter dash. When I started track my 7th grade year my 100 meter dash time was 18 seconds. My 400 meter dash time was 1:13. So why should I be considered? Because if anyone tells me I can't do something, they're going to watch me do right in front of them, and because my work ethic is over 100% and I strive to be the best at what I do.
