Riley Simpson '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Riley Simpson and I am a Cross Country/Track runner from West Plains, MO. Our cross county program is one of the top in the state and was inducted into the MO Sports Hall of Fame in 2019. I was nominated for Missouri's #1 Boys Cross Country Runner by the Springfield Sports Commission for 2019/2020.  I was 19th in the state meet last year with the honor of All State, All Sectional, All District & All Conference in 2019. I have currently earned 1st team All-Conference, Ozark Conference Champion, Class 4 district champion and Class 4 State Champion for 2020. My current PR in the 5K is 15:23.80 and my goal is to be sub 15 before my senior season is over. 

My future goals are to attend a University where I can continue my running career and obtain a degree in Physical Therapy where I can specialize in sports medicine.

I look very forward to college and to anybody that gives me a chance to prove that I will always give it my all and always work my hardest.
