An aspiring Triple Jumper ready to take on college track. I've been competing in track since 7th grade. Ever since I learned how to Triple jump at the end of that season, I fell in love with it. The feeling of gracefully gliding through the air, in such a mechanical way. Throughout my high school career, I've been without a jump coach. Having only myself as a resource to rely on, I made it to sectionals for Triple Jump my sophomore year. I was super confident I would make it to state and I didn't, I never let that go. I used that defeat and turned it into placing third at state my junior year. I Also went to sectionals for long jump, which was my third time ever long jumping in a high school meet, and I made it to sectionals for the 4x100. Track is the one thing I look forward to every spring, and I don't want to stop after high school. I feel like with the proper coach, I could really go far with any team I'm a part of. Having a 4.2 weighted GPA, I've never had any problems in the classroom.
