My name is Ben Saad and I am from a small town in Montana. I have grown up playing many different sports but once high school came around I decided to play only Basketball until this year when I decided to go out for the Track and Field team. I have inadvertently been training for the High Jump since middle school when I began jump/speed training for basketball. I ended up learning this year that I am very passionate about track and field and this has only made me have more desire to reach my potential in the high jump as well as the long jump.
At times I can feel alienated from my peers because in our town, partying is a very big aspect of high schoolers' lives, and personally I know it is not my thing. I would rather do something that will build me up as a person rather than slowly deteriorate me. I also take my academics very seriously and always make sure that I maintain high grades throughout the year.
I believe I can be a very good piece for any team, as a coach you won't have to worry about me getting into trouble or partying and you will see that I enjoy working hard and bettering whatever program I attend.
