Hi my name is Eric Dean Chatham I am 18 years old. I have done Track for 6 years and I am hoping I can continue doing Track in college. I am also a Cross Country runner and have done Cross Country for 5 years (My 5k PR is 17:42) I'm hoping this upcoming season for XC I make state and hope to beat 19 minutes. This summer I plan on working really hard to make this goals happen, meaning practicing extra hard during practices (preseason and actual season), eating what I need to eat that will help me but wont affect what my body needs, and take care of my body and have fun and be competitive.
For Track I like doing everything except Hurdles and field events, the events I mostly are 400M (PR is 56.1) dash, 1600M relay, 800M (PR is 2:16-2:17) run, 3200M relay but I like doing everything, sprints, mid distance, and distance (100M PR is around 11 and 12sec and 200M PR is 25sec). This season (2022) I ran the mile run at Papio South High School Track meet and got a 5:05 witch was a big surprise to me and my coaches for I haven't raced in the mile since 7th grade and PR by a lot (no I don't know what my 7th grade mile time but I know it was between 6 and 7 minutes) so I plan on next season (2023) doing distance running for my senior season. I am a hard worker when it comes to running, I am willing to do anything for a workout during practice and willing to try any races in track.
As a teammate I support my team at track and Cross Country meets even the meets I don't go to, I drive there to support my teammates and help coaches out with anything. I'm willing to work hard and dedicate myself to the team and track.
