I started running freshman year at Central High School, and honestly hated it. It wasn't until the following summer that I started to actually enjoy the sport. When I started to like it more, the more I tried to get better. My freshman time was in the mid 20s, and with the help of my teammates and coach I've been able to drop to 16:30, and hopefully high 15:50s before highschool is over! I would love to continue running in college. I believe a D2 or D3 school would be the best fit for me. The smaller class sizes and slightly less rigorous training schedule seem nice compared to a D1 school. I would love to hear from anyone interested in having me be a part of their team!
