Ryan Garvey '22 Recruiting Profile

Since I was a child I have been intrigued with running.  Both of my parents have competed as running athletes and coaches and that has helped fuel my passion for both fitness and competition.

From the age of eleven, I was involved in a USATF track club and had the opportunity during my years on the club team to compete at the state, regional and national levels.

Continuing on into high school I have had the opportunity to represent my school at the state level in my freshman, sophomore, and junior years, which was a tremendous honor and privilege. 

I have always been a goal-setter and high achiever and the opportunity to challenge myself as an athlete has allowed me to persevere through both victories and disappointments.

I am looking for a college that will be a good fit for me both academically and athletically.  I believe I have not only the talent to compete at the college level, but also the work ethic and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your college program!
