My name is Jon Alicea and I am a Track and Field athlete. I've dedicated myself to this sport since freshmen year which is when I fell in love with jumping. I began to dedicate a large chunk of my time to training and understanding the sport. Every bad jump is an opportunity to fix mistakes and further improve myself. Along with training, I take time for school as well. I'm in honors and AP classes and I take my grades very seriously. I strive to be the best and seeing new competition always excites me because its an opportunity to further improve myself.
