I have learned many lessons over my four years running track and field and cross country that I also carry out of sports. My first lessons I learned was from my first coach which he taught me working hard will eventually pay off. The reason he said that was because I had natural speed but lacked a hard work ethic which he instilled in me by making me work out from this I made it to counties my freshmen year also from this I got more roses from my jobs. Next lesson I learned was my second coach my sophomore year which he taught me never give up even when you think the situation won't get better. Well, getting hurt my sophomore year I would watch everyone improve and me not from getting hurt which made me feel about giving up. After a while, my coach caught on to that and had a talk with me about not giving up on track and other things in life. And from this, I learned to trust the process and go with your gut also stick with something even though everyone says you can't. The third lesson I learned was in my junior year with my third coach. He has taught me to take what I want meaning don't talk just do, or actions are louder than words. The reason for this is that I would tell big, but I haven't proved it to him yet so he thought it would be funny to race such a big name sprinters to teach me a lesson. He put me in a race with some big name high school sprinters and from that day I learned to be humble, and I'm not the best but to be the best don't talk prove it by actions which I'm starting to do it right now in my senior year.
