Xavier Eaddy '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Xavier Eaddy, 11th grade Student-Athlete at Elmont Memorial HS, home of the fighting Spartans. The 55M, 100M, 200M 300M, 400M, Relays 4x100, 4x200, 4x400; I can run where you need me. My blind pass skills are on point. I also play football during the off season at FS, CB, S, LB, RB. A versatile player can fit where the team needs.

My own personal challenge is to show all the doubters who believe I’ll never be tall, strong or swift enough to compete against the elite players. I didn’t have the opportunity to participate in sports at an early age, unlike most kids. I have to always prove myself every day by working harder than most athletes. My goal has always been to compete in college and at the highest level of competition, whether it’s at a Division I, II or III school in Track & Field and Football. 

My passion for Track & Field has also given me the opportunity to volunteer/work at the New Balance Track & Field Center in the Armory. I gain more experience by watching collegiate and professional athletes, learning different techniques. Every major event, I tell myself “I will be there next year.” I strive to continually get better. My ideal athletic experience would be one where I could make a contribution early in my collegiate career and strive to be an impact player on and off the track. What I can offer your team is speed, quickness, agility, the passion and dedication for the sport. What you get is a player who has the drive, determination, intensity, hustle, and who understands sacrifice and hard work. The qualities I possess, such as  commitment, responsibility, determination, and motivation, contribute to building a foundation for a successful Student-Athlete.
