2022 SpotlightPersonal Statement
My goal with running is to become the best possible track & field athlete I can be. I spent the beginning of my junior year training hard and am prepared to give it my all, in both practice and in competitions. As captain of the H. Frank Carey Varsity team, I aim to inspire my teammates by serving as a good example both on and off the track, and by cheering them on in their own training.
I am excited to rise to my full potential - both academically and athletically- in college. I have high expectations of myself as a runner, and will continue to develop my ability (and my times) by giving it my all.
