When I was younger, out of every sport I played I loved the running the most. I never realized my speed and love for running would place me into the sport of track and field. I grew up in downtown Brooklyn and never got the opportunity to join a track team or any outdoor sport in general. I loved playing indoor soccer and flag football. As I grew older, we decided to move to Long Island when I was in 8th grade. When I saw track was one of the many sports offered by the school, I jumped on the opportunity. As I became enveloped in the sport of running, I wanted to become dedicated to it totally. As I moved up into high school, I realized I needed to work harder then I've ever had to for a sport. I would love to run on a college track team because I love the way running brings everyone together and forms new friendships and the rivalries are fun too. I'd also love to be able to learn more and become better in running and I'd love to have the chance to beat records or go to different events to showcase what I've worked towards. During the time of me living in Long Island, I found new hobbies that I love as well. I love researching about historical artifacts and different important historical ideas and places. My father and I share the same interests in history, and he is where I get most of my interest to keep learning. Some other hobbies of mine are playing basketball and playing soccer. The strengths on my transcript are Global History, Biology, and English. History has always come easy to me, and is also my favorite subject. I also have a lot of interest in science, so biology is another subject I like. I am excited to go into chemistry this year. I also have always loved English because I love to read and write. I would like a great business program and maybe a good law program. I am interested in accounting and other areas of business. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
